Brass Tacks Comedy are recruiting for an Assistant Producer and for multiple street team roles at the Edinburgh Fringe 2026.
We are an Edinburgh based and female founded comedy production company, in our third year at the Edinburgh Fringe. You’ll be part of a small but close-knit group working hard for our eight hand-picked comedians.
ASSISTANT PRODUCER
We are looking for a highly organised, proactive individual to support our Fringe 2026 programme.
The Assistant Producer role is varied and hands-on, combining pre-Festival admin, on-the-ground logistics, and day-to-day coordination during August
This is a freelance role ideal for someone with festival, events, stage management, or producing experience who enjoys being hands-on, people-focused and unflappable under pressure.
Salary: £3,375 total fee (equating to £15p/h)
Working Pattern: Approx 5-6 days per week during August, plus 5-6 administrative days in June/July

STREET TEAM
We’re on the lookout for Street Team members to help promote eight incredible comedians at the Edinburgh Fringe. If you’re a comedy fan who’s outgoing and able to engage passers-by in an enthusiastic and confident manner, we want to hear from you.
Salary: £15 per hour.
Working Pattern: Flexible working patterns.
Location: Edinburgh
Working Period: 3rd to 30th August 2026
Deadline: Friday 12th June 5pm
